An Experiential Concept for Del Real Foods · by C2B Team

Más TiempoFrom our roots to your table — to your time together

10:00
The time your dinner takes · The time your family gets back

A 10-minute family experience booth, built to tour Del Real's event calendar.

Del Real puts in the hours of slow cooking so families don't have to. This experience makes that promise visible: while the meal heats up, the family plays — and walks away with proof.

0:00 The Insight

The real product isn't food.
It's time.

Every Del Real pack carries hours of slow cooking that a family doesn't have to spend in the kitchen. Sampling proves the food tastes great. This experience proves what the brand actually gives you: minutes back, spent together.

What the brand puts in
Hours of slow cooking, by hand
What the family spends
Just minutes — ready when you are
What the experience proves
Time you get back, lived together
0:30 The Experience

One timer. One family.
Ten minutes.

Meet the Garcías. Every family lives the same ritual — here's theirs. A countdown starts when they check in, the symbolic time their dinner takes. They play, the timer rings, the table is served, and the video lands on their phone before they leave the booth.

0:00

Check-in

The García family registers, picks their favorite dish — carnitas — and signs the media release on a tablet.

0:30

The timer starts

A big countdown lights up: "Your dinner is on, García family."

1:00

Choose a station

The kids vote: tonight they cook. (Or tell. Or dance — one station per family.)

1:00–9:00

Play together

They build a plush carnitas plate against the clock. Cameras capture it all — no posing, no direction.

9:00

The timer rings

"Your food is ready." The clock stops; the table doesn't. The Garcías sit down to hot carnitas, at their own pace.

Before they leave

The video arrives

A branded keepsake lands on mom's phone via WhatsApp — with a coupon for their next carnitas run. Theirs to keep, and share.

1:00 Three Stations

Cook it. Tell it. Dance it.

Three ways to spend the time you got back. Each one ends in a video worth keeping.

Station 01 · Cook It

The Plush Kitchen

A felt-and-plush cooking workshop. The family picks their favorite dish on a tablet; a guided recipe tells them which plush ingredients to hunt down and assemble — real ingredients, the same ones in the pack.
  • Most on-brand: hands-on, "made by hand," real ingredients
  • Parents and kids build the dish together against the clock
  • Video: the family "cooking" their plate, time-lapsed

Station 02 · Tell It

The Story Table

Every dish has a story. Short illustrated tales — where the tamal comes from, how birria was born, what a pupusa means — read aloud by parents to their kids at a cozy reading nook.
  • Heritage transmission: the brand's manifesto, lived
  • One story per dish; family picks the dish, gets the story
  • Video: the reading, captured warm and close

Station 03 · Dance It

The Family Pista

Each dish has a region, each region has a sound. Banda for carnitas, cumbia for pupusas. Props, costumes, and a song — the family dances the music of their favorite plate.
  • Highest energy, most shareable output
  • Costumes + regional music = instant joy on camera
  • Video: the family dancing, cut to the beat

9:00 The System

A keepsake in their pocket
before they leave the booth.

This isn't a videographer with a laptop. It's an automated capture-to-delivery pipeline built and operated by C2B — the part of this experience no one else can replicate from a brief.

01

Capture

Fixed multi-angle cameras per station. No crew hovering over the family — the moment stays natural.

02

Auto-edit

Automated cut: best moments, music, branded open and close. The family's chosen dish appears as the hero product.

03

Brand layer

Elegant, not stamped: closing card — "This moment, brought to you by Del Real." A keepsake that happens to have a brand, not an ad.

04

Instant delivery

9:16, under 45 seconds, delivered by WhatsApp/SMS within minutes. Private by default — the family owns it. Every keepsake closes with a scannable retail coupon.

05

Opt-in UGC

One checkbox at registration lets the brand reshare. Voluntary, compliant, and it builds a real UGC library event after event.

10:00 What Del Real Gets

Measured engagement,
not estimated impressions.

10'
Dwell time per family

Versus seconds at a sampling table. Deep, undivided brand time.

100%
Trial built in

Every family tastes their chosen dish — sampling is the finale, not the pitch.

1:1
Videos delivered & tracked

Delivery rate, open rate, opt-in rate — every keepsake is measurable.

Organic share upside

Families share because it's their moment. Earned reach as upside, not promise.

QR
Coupon in every keepsake

Redemptions tracked back to retail — the experience sells, not just engages.

Throughput, planned honestly: with parallel families per station, the booth serves 25–35 families per hour (~150–200 per event day). Food is served in continuous batches from a standard sampling station — the timer synchronization the family feels is ritual; the operation behind it is proven catering logistics.
Repeat Built to Tour

Not a one-off.
A module that travels.

The booth packs, ships, and redeploys. Same system, new crowd — across the brand's event calendar in California and beyond.

Spring

Cinco de Mayo

The brand's signature moment. Flagship deployment.

Summer

Festivals & Ferias

Community festivals, food fests, county fairs across SoCal.

Fall

Hispanic Heritage Month

Sep 15 – Oct 15. Heritage storytelling at full strength.

Winter

Tamale Season

Las Posadas, holiday mercados — peak tamal demand.
